“I have worked with several contractors on many projects to improve my various homes through the years. I can honestly say that Budd Kahler stands head and shoulders over all the others. I highly recommend Kahler Construction and everyone that he works with for any and all of your home projects.   

I took my time in writing this review, almost 2 years. I hesitated to write this because I wanted to see what kind of follow through Kahler Construction would offer. In the past, I have had several contractors that disappear when a job is complete. Without fail issues arise or questions come up when a project is complete and whomever I hired would disappear and I would never hear from them again. In my experience contractors have seemingly vaporized and no longer return phone calls or respond to emails. That has NOT been the case with Kahler Construction. Budd answers the phone every time I call, he responds to emails usually within the day, and has even returned to my home to help me with questions and concerns. I am still amazed when he picks up the call or quickly responds to a text. There are many positive things that I will tell you in this review but I would say that Budd’s communication far exceeds any contractor with whom I have worked. Budd’s group of subcontractors has been just as responsive. Jim Overbeck with Overbeck Electric has come back to my house for multiple other projects and again is super responsive. Joe Pizzuto plumbing, and Jim Phillips with JPWorks have returned for other jobs as well. Budd has surrounded himself with reliable and responsive people, which leads to amazing customer service!  

As for the work itself, it’s Excellent! Budd’s quality of craftsmanship on our edition makes the rest of our house look shabby. He put on a 1200 sq ft addition with garage, master suite, and a new den. It is really amazing and my family has lived and loved every part of it. There is a tremendous amount of work that goes into a job like that. It is like building a new home, everything from foundation up. Our project went over budget and over the projected time because we made so many modifications as we were going. Budd was right there to change plans and did everything to make us happy.  

When you are excited and happy about a product you spread the word. Anyone that I know that has been looking to do a project I have immediately given them contact information for Kahler Construction. I highly recommend Budd and his crew for any and all home improvements you might be considering. I would be happy to speak to anyone about my experience. We are already planning to have Budd return for our kitchen project, screened in porch project, and perhaps a stand alone garage. Just need to figure out how to pay for it!”
