This house renovation in Macungie, PA modernized the home’s exterior while improving energy efficiency. To start, we removed the existing cedar siding and windows from the entire house. Next, we wrapped the home with Tyvek house wrap and added 3/8-inch foam board to increase insulation and enhance comfort.
Additionally, we installed new vinyl siding with shake-style siding on the two peaks to give the home an updated, contemporary look. Meanwhile, all windows were replaced to improve both aesthetics and performance. Furthermore, the double entry door was replaced with a single front door and sidelights, complemented by a stone veneer that enhances the shake-style design above.
Overall, this Macungie house renovation combines modern design, improved energy efficiency, and thoughtful craftsmanship. Moreover, the exterior now feels fresh, cohesive, and visually appealing while providing a more comfortable living environment for the homeowners.
